Cabinet Repair & Custom Work in Williamson County, TX
Between "live with it" and a $20,000 remodel — there's a better option.
Why This Matters
Your kitchen cabinets take more daily abuse than almost anything in your home. Opened and closed thousands of times a year. Exposed to heat, moisture, and cooking grease.
Most of them — especially in homes built in the last 15 years across Williamson County — were built to a builder-grade standard. Particle board boxes, thin MDF doors, plastic hardware clips. They look fine on move-in day. Five to ten years later? Doors won’t stay closed. Drawer slides are shot. Hinges are pulling out because the screw holes stripped.
A full kitchen remodel? $15,000-$30,000. New cabinet doors from a refacing company? $5,000-$10,000. Live with it? That’s what most people end up choosing.
But there’s a middle ground. Fix what’s broken. Upgrade what’s dated. Build custom inserts for problems off-the-shelf cabinets were never designed to solve.
Our Approach
Repair what’s failing. Stripped hinge screw holes get filled and redrilled. Drawer slides get replaced with full-extension, soft-close hardware. Peeling laminate gets addressed or the door gets replaced.
Replace doors and drawer fronts. We measure your existing boxes, build new doors in our workshop — solid wood or MDF for painted finish — and install them with quality hinges. Same boxes, entirely new face.
Build custom inserts. Pull-out spice racks, drawer organizers, pot lid holders, tray dividers, lazy susan replacements — we build these to fit your specific cabinets.
Hardware upgrades. Swapping knobs and pulls changes the look instantly. We also handle soft-close hinge conversions.
Cabinet refinishing. Doors go to our workshop for proper sanding, priming, and painting in a controlled environment.
The Workshop Advantage
Cabinet work is where our workshop capability shows most clearly. A truck-based handyman can tighten a hinge. Building a set of custom Shaker doors that match your cabinetry, with mortise-and-tenon construction and a hand-rubbed finish? That takes a table saw, a router table, clamps, and a finish room. We have all of it.
